Betty's Story

Betty is a very sweet and gentle kitty who came to us a few months ago as a stray from around Spruce Grove. She arrived with no identifying info so unfortunately we have limited knowledge on her background. We know that she did not do well with her cat test but we have not had a chance to dog test her yet.

Betty has been to the vet and we found that like most senior cats her kidneys are starting to show some wear. Right now she is eating normal food but we expect her to need prescription food in the future. Otherwise Betty is happy and healthy; she is super friendly.

Her current foster home is quiet and Betty is really enjoying that lifestyle. She is catching up on sleep, playing with her toys, and eating her snacks of course. She's very affectionate but it might take her a while to warm up to you at first, so please don't be put off if she is shy at the beginning. She is very outgoing and does not hide at all once you get to know her.

Betty's one flaw is that she does not enjoy being picked up. She wants to cuddle on her terms, so kids may not be the best choice for her. but we would consider it for the right home.

Betty and her foster mom love each other like crazy, but it's time for the little girl to find her forever home. You can apply here to meet her.
